Cooking Instructions

2 1/2 hours
  1. 1

Chop onions, medium slice your cabbage quarters (shred-slice), press 7 cloves of garlic all in one large sealable bowl and mix- toss together. Dice the Polska Kielbasa and layer on top the bowl. Seal, and let sit overnight, in the fridge, or until ready to prepare the soup.

  2. 2

In a large Soup pot over high heat add the hamburger and sautee, brown, and crumble with a spoon. Add the top layer of the cubed kielbasa from your "chop bowl" and let fry with the hamburger. About 7 minutes.

  3. 3

Add the can of tomato paste and all of the seasoning, herbs, and spices to the meat. Stir and lightly fry around four minutes.

  4. 4

Add the cabbage, onions, and garlic from your prepped "chop bowl". Stir and toss, vigorously with the meat and spice-tomato paste melange over high heat. Sautee for a few minutes.

  5. 5

Add the 2 cans of tomatoes, water, and rice. Bring to a boil and turn to low and simmer for two hours, stirring often.
