Carbonnade of beef with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables

Ingredients

  1. 1 kgbeef
  2. pepper
  3. salt
  4. flour
  5. oil
  6. Beer
  7. castor sugar
  8. tomato puree
  9. Brown stock

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the meat into small dice shape

  2. 2

    Season with salt and pepper, pass through flour.

  3. 3

    Fry the onions to a light brown colour, add meat and stir

  4. 4

    Add the little beer, sugar, tomato puree and brown stock to the meat.

  5. 5

    Cover and gently moderate heat until the meat is tender.

  6. 6

    Correct the seasoning.

  7. 7

    Serve with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables.
