Cooking Instructions

Tip the chickpeas into your processor and whizz with a little water until smooth.

Add the tahini cumin, chilli powder, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and a good pinch of salt and blend again (you may Ned to add a little more water).

Drizzle with olive oil on serving.

CARMELISED ONION

Add 1-2tbsp red onion chutney or caramelised onions from a jar to the above recipe. Add a little more water to get a dipping consistency.

ROASTER RED PEPPER

Chop a few roaster red peppers from a jar (use the ones in oil) and add to the houmous along with 2-3tbsp of the oil from the jar.

FETA and BASIL

Add 50g crumbled feta, a little more water and 5-6 basil leaves to the houmous.
