Ingredients

  1. 2kgs potatoes- peeled
  2. 1 tablespoonmargarine
  3. 1 glassboiled milk
  4. Black pepper
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1 kgmeat
  7. 2onions-finely chopped
  8. 1Hoho- chopped
  9. 2chopped tomatoes
  10. Cooking oil
  11. Grated garlic and ginger
  12. Chopped fresh dhania
  13. Cabbage

    In a sufuria put the peeled and well washed potatoes, a little margarine, salt and a little black pepper to taste. Add enough water, cover and put it on fire to boil.

    In a frying pan, add oil and put it on fire and once the oil is heated add meat and leave it to brown.

    After frying the meat and mixing till its brown, add onions, ginger and garlic and mix well for a few minutes then add chopped hoho and later tomatoes and cover it to cook.

    If it starts sticking and its not well cooked, add a little water and cover it to boil till it dries up so as to form a thick a paste. Add the chopped dhania and mix well.

    Add salt and black pepper to taste, cook for 2-3 mins then remove from fire.

    Now your potatoes are ready to mash, so mash them as you add the milk to mix it well.

    Steam your cabbage and your meal is ready to be served.

    Garnish with some dhanias or carrots as you wish and enjoy.
