Monkey Bread
I bought a piece of stoneware at the thrift shop. Unbeknownst to me, there were a few recipes inside of it. One was for monkey bread. I actually had some yeast inside of the cabinet. I took the liberty of adding my own flavors and ingredients but made sure not to deviate from the method so much as to totally mess up the recipe. I am not a baker... but I will admit that I have come very far from where I used to be. The fact that I can make a biscuit from scratch ought to give me an honorary culinary degree. I digressed.

Samhain Pumpkin Bread
This recipe comes from all recipes.com. I twist things up just a little by using juice such as apple, today I had pumpkin spice coffee and thought why not, and am very happy with the results.

Deep Fried “Cakwe” (Chinese Crullers)
In my busy day, sometime I can’t think what should I cook for lunch or dinner. Home chores are never ending. Specially Monday is the busiest day to me. Doing laundry, cleaning house, cooking, and assignments also due on the same day. And now since quarantines time my hubby works from home. That means I have to cook for his lunch, and again later for our dinner. Earlier i made him very easy tofu sandwich for his lunch. Now I am planning to make chicken congee for our dinner. Usually chicken congee will serve with “Cakwe” as a topping. It’s kind of fried bread or fried dough with chewy and savory taste. It’s also called Chinese crullers. So here’s my homemade Cakwe recipe.

A Taste of Home: My Mom's Croquettes
I've been eating these croquettes all the time but the ones I make always taste a little different from my mother's. I was going to ask her how to make it, but I haven't still asked. She made it for me recently and I realized that the difference comes from the amount of potatoes used. I think my croquettes are now similar to the ones my mom makes?Make sure to extract the water from the ingredients. Shape the potato mixture while it's still hot and let it cool down before coating and dredging it. Recipe by Donpintan

The One With The Lebanese Pita Bread
Living in the United States has its positives and negatives. One of the negatives of living in the United States is missing out on easy access to the most common traditional things my country has to offer, like our bread. Pita bread is an essential item in every Arab woman's kitchen, so today I made this for my husband because my loving husband eats our bread with E-Bhi-E-Aur-Y-T-Hai-I-And-G so I researched a lot of recipes till I came up with my own that felt like the perfect fit for me. I hope you like it! ❤️

Handmade Naan (Approved by My Mother-in-Law)
The naan from the local shop is mediocre, so I always make this recipe at home.I am still trying to make an even more delicious naan! This recipe has got more sugar than normal bread, but the taste will be less sweet than you think. Please add more bread flour if your dough is too sticky, as it depends on the flour and yogurt. However, the ideal dough is slightly sticky!I recommend you cook this naan on a frying pan rather than the oven!
