Mashed potatoes are loved by most, and may not be missing at Thanksgiving dinner. So, here's a dairy free variation for all those who prefer the potatoey taste over the buttery one :)

Ingredients

20 servings
  1. 1Powerful blender, e.g. Thermomix
  2. 3540 gramspartially or clean peeled potatoes
  3. 40 gramsmargarine (or butter)
  4. 230 gramssoaked cashews
  5. 240 gwater the potatoes where boiled in
  6. Spices
  7. 1salt
  8. 1ground pepper
  9. 1ground nutmeg

Cooking Instructions

    Dice potatoes

    Place cashews and water from cooked potatoes into blender/tmx

  3. 3

    Add margarine and spices; now you can add salt to adjust saltiness

  4. 4

    30 sec, speed 3 for chunky, 4 for regular smooth or for extra -smooth 5

  5. 5

    Serve steaming hot with a dab of margarine, freshly ground pepper, salt on top; you can garnish with a bit of parsley as well
