peel potatoes

cut in half on small potatoes, and large potatoes cut into fourths

rinse cut potatoes off in sink
- 4
put in large pot and add water to top of pot
- 5
put on stove top, then turn on to hi and boil water

once water is boiling, turn down to simmer

simmer for about 30 minutes
- 8
once fork can go into potatoes easily, pour out all the water
- 9
add the milk, sea salt, black pepper, and butter
- 10
mix on high with electric mixer until no more lumps
