Cooking Instructions
- 1
Melt butter in large saut? pan, and EVOO
- 2
Saut? onions and mushrooms over medium heat, in the butter until caramelization begins, about 15 minutes.
- 3
While onions and mushrooms are cooking season the chicken breasts with season salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- 4
Once caramelization occurs push the onion mixture to one side of the pan. Add chicken to pan, only a few pieces at a time, don't crowd them! Brown on both sides. Once brown, place on top of the onion mixture and brown another set of breasts. Set aside the first set onto a plate if you need to brown more than three sets.
- 5
Add broth and red pepper flakes to onion mixture, combine thoroughly. Place chicken on top and cover pan, simmer 10 to 15 minutes depending on thickness of the breasts.
- 6
Remover cover and continue to simmer about 10 minutes, juices will slightly.
- 7
Serve and enjoy!
