Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbutter
  2. 3 cupscake flour
  3. 2 TSPbaking powder
  4. 4large eggs
  5. 1 cupmilk
  6. 3 TBSlemon juice
  7. 1 TSPlemon zest
  8. 1 TSPvanilla flavor

Cooking Instructions

    Sift flour and baking powder together and set aside

  2. 2

    Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy

  3. 3

    Add eggs one at a time blending after each addition

  4. 4

    Add vanilla and lemon juice to the milk

  5. 5

    Add flour alternating with the milk mixture and fold in till well combined (don't over mix)

  6. 6

    Pour batter into well greased cake pan and bake at 180 for 50 to 60 minutes or till toothpick inserted comes out clean
