Ingredients

  1. 16thin slices honey turkey
  2. 8 slicesbacon
  3. 1avocado; sliced
  4. 1 packageAlouette roasted red bell pepper cheese spread; as needed
  5. 1baguette; cut into fourths
  6. 1/3 Cwhite wine vinegar
  7. 1/4 Cdijon
  8. 8basil leaves; minced
  9. 1 pinchkosher salt and black pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Place bacon on baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350° for approximately 25 minutes or until bacon is crispy. Drain bacon fat into a cup. Set bacon aside.

    Place dijon, vinegar, and basil in a mixing bowl or food processor. Add salt and pepper. Whisk. Slowly drizzle in bacon fat while whisking to emulsify sauce.

    Spread Alouette on each side of baguette. Layer with turkey, avocado, and bacon. Toast briefly in oven or panini press. Add sauce.
