Ingredients

  1. 1mediun sized yam
  2. 3eggs
  3. 2 tinssardines
  4. Green pepper
  5. Curry
  6. 1/2 tspgarlic & ginger paste
  7. 2chillies
  8. Onions (chopped)
  9. 1red bell pepper
  10. Paprika
  11. Salt
  12. Sugar
  13. Seasoning
  14. Oil

Cooking Instructions

    Cut yam into cubes, boil with salt,pinch of sugar and mash.

    Meanwhile saute the chillies,red pepper,onions,green pepper,garlic & ginger paste,paprika and curry.

    Add to the mashed yam. Break 1egg directly into the mixture.

    Add the sardines (without the oil)and 3tbspn of oil,salt and seasoning to taste and give it a good mix.

    Beat the remaining 2 eggs, mould mixture into small balls,

    Coat in a beating egg and deep fry it in a very hot oil til desire colour.

    Note!!!you can substitute sardines with fresh fish,minced meat,corned beef etc... You can also coat in bread crumbs before frying for extra crispy yam balls.

    I served mind with egg stew. U can even serve with ketchup
