Ingredients

  • 1big Cup Green Gram moong
  • 1/4 tspmusterd seeds
  • 5-7curry leaves
  • 2medium poptato
  • 2medium finely chopped onion
  • 1small cup coconut
  • 1 bunchCoriander leaves
  • 4 Green Chillies
  • 1 tspRed Chillies
  • 2 tspgreen chilli paste
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 1 tspfennel seeds / Saunf optional
  • 1/2 tspGinger Paste
  • 2 tspsandwich masala
  • 1 tbspgaram masala
  • 2 tbspLemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tbspCoriander mint chutney
  • 1pkt sandwich bread -
  • as neededOil /Butter
  • as neededCheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak green gram for abt 4-5 hours.
    Drain excess water and grind moong as mentioned
    And make paste. Make sure that paste not be more smooth.

    Heat oil in a pan, add musted seeds once it crakle, Add curry leaves, ginger and red chilies powder,turmaric powder, green chillies finey chopped and saute for a minute. Now add the green moong dal paste and stirt for 2-3 minutes. Keep a side at cool place.(dont put dis in fridge)

    Now Chop finely onion and put into a bowl han add green gram paste masala, Crush boiled potatoes and mix it well.

  4. 4

    Now Add garam masala, sandwich masala, coconut, salt, lemon juice,coriander, cheese, green chillies paste and mix well and mashing slightly.

  5. 5

    Apply butter and coriander-mint chutney on all the bread slices.

  6. 6

    Now Take a spoonful of the topping and spread it evenly on one side of the bread slice with a spoon.and cover them with the remaining slice.Now Apply a little butter on outer sides of the sandwiches

  7. 7

    Now Grease a sandwich toaster with butter or oil or ghee, place a sandwich in it, close and cook on medium heat, turning sides till both sides are golden.

  8. 8

    Cut into 2 triangles, arrange on serving plate, garnish with onion rings and serve hot.

  9. 9

    A Healthy and tasty toast ready to eat.Serve it hot with Tomato ketchup.moong toast
