My crunchy peanuts

So I've been hearing/seeing people make peanuts. But I've never made it for once. Yesterday being 26th I told myself that I must try this out. Guess what? Everyone in the loved and my sister in-law was like "I won't be buying peanuts outside again. I will be giving you the contract" 💃💃💃 first time making peanuts and it came out really nice #delta_state

Ingredients

  1. 6 cupsflour
  2. 6 cupspeanuts aka groundnut
  3. 6eggs
  4. 1 sachetmilk flavour
  5. 1 table spoonmargarine
  6. 1 tbspvanilla flavour
  7. 2 cupssugar
  8. ¹/² teaspoon of salt
  9. ¹/² teaspoon of nutmeg
  10. 1 table spoonbaking powder
  11. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the groundnut inside hot water and add a teaspoon of salt and leave for 30 mins, sieve and dry the groundnuts.

    Sieve the flour inside a bowl, mix in the baking powder, nutmeg, and milk flavour

    In a small bowl break the eggs, add vanilla flavour, sugar, salt and butter wisk very well and allow to rest for 10 mins. So the sugar and salt will dissolve

    Put the 6 cups of groundnuts inside a bowl with a round and smooth bottom for easy rolling

    Take the bowl of groundnut, put 1 tbspoon of the egg mixture inside the bowl and roll in a circular motion, the egg will coat all the groundnuts then you now sprinkle a handful of flour inside and roll in a circular motion and the flour again will coat the groundnut. Repeat the procedure until you exhaust the flour and the egg mixture

    Your well coated peanuts

    Pour in a tray and allow to set for about 20 mins.

    Deep fry till it's golden brown

    Your crunchy peanuts is ready. Pour in a tray and allow to cool then pour in a tight container

  10. 10

    NB: Sundry the groundout for at least 3hours for it to be very crunchy
