Simple Rice Pilaf in the Microwave Simple Rice Pilaf in the Microwave
It was so hot and I didn't want to make anything, but I had to do dinner so I decided to just throw something together with what I had in the fridge.I made this recipe on the fly so there aren't really any tricks to it. I made this pilaf for my daughter so if you want it to taste lighter or stronger, please adjust the amount of soup stock you put in. If you're using fresh vegetables it's probably better to cook them for longer in the microwave, or cook them in a frying pan beforehand. Recipe by sneeuw cookpad.japan -

Indonesian Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) with chicken Indonesian Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) with chicken
Fried Rice or Nasi Goreng is Indonesia's most popular dish which could be served as breakfast, lunch, and dinner - basically any time of the day. The main ingredients are rice and spices. Vegetables and flesh are optionally added according to one's taste. There are a lot of variations and you will probably get different tastes from different chefs using the same ingredients! 😉It is believed that this dish was invented to make use of leftover rice which people didn't want to throw away. And I do believe that the most delicious fried rice I've ever had was made out of leftover rice, by my father. On this recipe, however, I am using freshly cooked rice. I find basmati rice the most suitable rice to be used for this dish since the texture is a bit dry and loose. Berlian Utami -
Simple Foolproof Creamy Omurice Simple Foolproof Creamy Omurice
I thought if I didn't have the chicken and onions for chicken rice, then I didn't need to cook the rice. That's how I came up with this recipe.Using a small frying pan makes a thicker omelet, which is creamier. You can add ham or corn to the ketchup rice if you like.If you use soft rice it becomes sticky, so try to use firm rice.
