Ingredients

  1. 1 CupYellow split Moong daal
  2. 1Medium sized onion
  3. 1Medium sized Tomato
  4. 1/2medium sized cucumber
  5. 1/4 cupPomegranate seeds
  6. 1/2medium sized Carrot
  7. 1Green Chilli
  8. 1lemon
  9. 3-4Mint leaves
  10. leavesSome Coriander
  11. 1/2 tbspsalt
  12. 1/4 tspred chilli powder
  13. 3-4 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Soak Yellow split Moong Daal for 2-3 hours.Wash the soaked daal thoroughly.Boil about 3-4 cups of water and add the daal to it.Do not use a pressure cooker.Cook the daal till it's half boiled.

    Strain the daal using a strainer and keep it aside to cool down for about 5-10 minutes.Now put it in a bowl.To this add all the ingredients.Add salt and red chilli powder.Squeeze a lime and give a nice toss.The Moong daal chaat is ready to serve.
