The first food I've ever made myself was either fried eggs or pancakes. And from then on, I've tried TONS of different pancake recipes. I always end up feeling gross after eating a lot of pancakes but these are extremely light, with a bit of a bite to the exterior. I made the McDonald's pancake burger that's been popular in Taiwan recently. I ran out of baking powder, so I substituted with vinegar and baking soda. For the cheese, I used grilled crispy cheese shreds (follow the product for burger toppings).

Since I knew how to cook, I made a lots of pancake. I tried so many different recipes to receive a perfect pancake like I always seen in movies when I was a little child.And this recipe is the result of many year trying to make the same dish.

We call it in Indonesia Martabak manis, it means just pancake with sweet filling. This recipe is fluffy even cold😍
