My Antipasto Salad My Antipasto Salad
First of all I don't like artichokes. You can substitute heart of palm. I cook for some picky eaters. They don't like romaine lettuce, can't blame them you gotta scrub it , and look it over carefully for little worms especially here in Florida. Some whine it has too much meat. Most don't like cherry tomatoes. So I diced tomatoes. The red pepper are the pimentos in the green olives. Leeks instead of red or white onions. They also don't like Pepperoncini peppers, or provolone cheese. So I usually don't make it, but when I do this is how. So if you don't say that it's a proper salad you come and cook for at least 12 folks, and if you do it better be to their liking. skunkmonkey101 -

Mama's Southern Potato Salad Mama's Southern Potato Salad
My mama taught me to make this as a little girl. The whole family just LOVES it and to me its really EASY to do, and much better than store bought. It is even KID FRIENDLY!! (I do use raw onions but my kids like them but you can also split the recipe in half and use half the onion in one half and one half without. This is what I do for family events cause my dad won't eat raw onions but loves the potato salad!! This recipe is very adjustable between onions, mustard types, mayo and eggs n' taters!!) Just adjust to your family's taste buds and hopefully you and yours will love it too!! Jennifer Wilson -
Taisen's semi Italian pasta salad Taisen's semi Italian pasta salad
I have seen a lot of different Italian pasta salads, so I decided to try and do one but I couldn't find the one that I wanted to try, so I ended up just buying stuff that I wanted in it. Nobody in my household would try it besides myself and my youngest daughter. She loved this so much that she kept asking for more. The only thing that she picked out of it was the tomatoes. I will definitely do this again, but I think that I might make a few changes just to make it different. The ham for instance, didn't really go with because I had gotten honey ham. I think regular ham would be better. taisen76 -
Easy Quick Watermelon and Beets Salad Easy Quick Watermelon and Beets Salad
Before I don’t really like beet. I don’t know why? I just don’t really like with the color and maybe because it’s a category of root vegetables. One day hubby bought cooked beets from Costco. And like it or not I have to make something out of it. So, after got some inspiration from the website about beets recipes. I found there’re many salad recipes based on beets. Since I have cold watermelon and mints in my garden, so I decided to give it try. Ohh my, it was so delicious. Since then I am the one who reminds my hubby to get me beets every time he went to Costco. And better than that, I started loved beets either cooked or the raw beet. So here is my favorite beet salads recipe. Nia Hiura -
Easy cucumber tomato salad Easy cucumber tomato salad
I don't like too tangy of cucumber salad. This salad is just right but I am sure that if it is too tangy you could add more water and if it is not tangy enough just add more vinegar. krg0802 -

taisen's macaroni salad taisen's macaroni salad
I am the only one in the house who eats this but my mom did it all the time growing up. I loved it and I always add extra vinegar because I love it so much. when my brother , sister and mom come over for a get together I make this for us all. they take home some everytime. I did this about a week ago and didn't do the boiling of vinegar and sugar. Instead I just added them in and mixed well. Turned out the same. I did add some diced carrots and I really liked it ! taisen76 -

Sweet Onion, Bonito Flake, Tomato, Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise Salad Sweet Onion, Bonito Flake, Tomato, Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise Salad
Both my husband and I get heartburn if we eat raw onions so I microwaved the onions and made them into a salad.Microwave the onion to your desired degree of doneness. If you don't get heartburn from raw onions, try this without cooking the onion. Adjust the amount of mayonnaise and soy sauce to your taste. I recommend using a ton of bonito flakes on this! For about 2 servings. Recipe by John Lee Cooker cookpad.japan
