Habanero Hot Sauce Habanero Hot Sauce
My Pepper plants are getting ridiculous. They’re not even plants anymore, they’re trees. Well, maybe shrubs. But they’re inside, so they’re like redwoods. Normally, I just dehydrate the peppers and make chili flakes. But I decided to try a hot sauce. It’s edible, good even. Haha. The orange ones are habaneros and the red ones are what I believe to be regular, grocery store variety red peppers. I remember being pissed off about how expensive they were and I threw some in the garden. Then, those peppers started growing. They’re not spicy. Karl -

Potatoes in Brava Sauce. The Authentic Recipe Potatoes in Brava Sauce. The Authentic Recipe
The authentic brava sauce is not a spicy tomato sauce but a velouté sauce or cream, made without tomatoes. To help you prepare bravas at home knowing they'll turn out just right, I bring you the original recipe for Potatoes in Brava Sauce. The key is the sauce, which we will partially cover the fried potatoes with, as they are also important. The sauce is spicy, but not overwhelmingly so, rather pleasantly and deliciously spicy. Fried Pompano W/ Fresh Tomato Fish Sauce | Cá Chiên Sốt Cà Fried Pompano W/ Fresh Tomato Fish Sauce | Cá Chiên Sốt Cà
One of my favorite Vietnamese home comfort food! This dish brings back nostalgic memories of when mom used to cook dinner for our big family of 8. I remember never liking fish when I was little, but this dish made me took a liking to it. I realized that it’s not fish that I don’t like, it’s the way it’s prepared that I was picky about. This is a crispy fried fish with a sweet, sour, and savory sauce that’s full of color, flavor, freshness and umami. Quoc Nguyen | Chef Q
