Steak kebab

Steak kebab is one of my favorite experiment cooking with steak. The slight vinegar tenders the steak a little, the garlic gives it an awesome natural aroma, the oil moistens it, the few mix of spices and seasonings gives it a very unique taste.
I like to use ingredients that any other person can find available in their locality.
I love the way the juice of the tomatoes gives the meat a juicy nature and the onions with the green peppers gives it a wonderful smell that makes you call for more.
You can try this now and tell others where you learned from, its my pleasure.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Set all the ingredients
- 2
Soak the bamboo skewers in water for atleast 10minutes, or more. This is to prevent them from burning in the oven or open-fire.
- 3
Slice the steak open like this
- 4
Then cut the sliced steak into smaller chunks you desire.
- 5
In a bowl mix the vegetable oil, white vinegar, scotch bonnet peppers and the crushed garlic.
- 6
Then add all spices and seasonings into the bowl and mix. This makes it a simple marinade.
- 7
Now toss the chunked steak into the bowl of marinade.
- 8
Stir it up and refrigerate for about 45mins- 1hour.
- 9
Now cut the tomatoes, green pepper and onions into small quarters and remove the skewers from water. Just as illustrated below
- 10
Arrange the marinaded steak and the vegetables on the skewers alternatively.
- 11
Arrange on a baking tray or an electric grill or an open fire grill wire, you can rub in the extra marinade. If you wish you can also sprinkle some chilli powder. Grill in the oven at 200 degrees celsius for 20mins
- 12
Serve

Slow Cooker Mackie Cheese Steak Slow Cooker Mackie Cheese Steak
When I was a child, my mom would make us Steak-umms about every other month. She would pull apart the two pieces of steak slices, then cut those pieces in half. That would be our dinner. I did not know any better. To me, that was what a cheese steak was.In college, I was able to try a real cheese steak and loved it. I have tried to make it at home, but it was never quite the same. When we bought the slow cooker, I was convinced to try to make it in there.I have checked out a lot of recipes, but they all seemed a lot of ingredients. Every recipe that I have, I prefer to keep my recipes simple. Some of the slow cooker cheese steak recipes called for using a whole container of broth, but that seemed to be a bit excessive to us.This is the recipe that we came up with together, my wife and I. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.Enjoy! J.A.B. -

Pastelitos (Chicken/Steak) Pastelitos (Chicken/Steak)
Growing up, I had this dish one way or another. Either from a friend’s mother or from the corner store. It wasn’t until I was a teenager that I discovered how to make these on my own. It wasn’t until my uncle from Virginia started experimenting with fillings that I realized that things other than ground beef can be used as a filling. I think this is a great way to repurpose things. I had a bbq yesterday and had some chicken and steak. Rather than just eat the same ol’ meal, I transformed it into this. By no means is this “authentic”, but it is delicious. Karl -

Cube Steak in Brown Mushroom Gravy Cube Steak in Brown Mushroom Gravy
Looks like a lot of steps, but this meal is absolutely simple, quick to make, and full of flavor. My hubby's not a cube steak fan and THIS is how I finally got him to enjoy it! I even throw in a little splash of balsamic or red wine vinegar with the broth from time to time to amp up the flavor profile. Yum! StephieCanCook -
