Ingredients

  1. 6-7 medium size potatoes
  2. to tasteSalt
  3. to tasteBlack pepper powder
  4. 1 tspchilli flakes
  5. as neededOil to shallow fry
  6. To serve with:-
  7. as neededTomato ketchup
  8. as neededSalad
  9. As neededCurd or yoghurt

Cooking Instructions

    Peel off the potatoes,wash and keep ready some ice cold water.grate all potatoes in icecold water.

    Keep the grated potatoes in icecold water for 15_20 min.wash in that water to remove extra starch from it.strain the grated potatoes through a thin cotton cloth.squeez out all water.Now transfer in a big mixing bowl.Add salt,chilli flakes and black pepper powder.Mix well.take one or two tbsp of mixture and give it rectangular shape.

    Heat a nonstick pan on medium flame.shallow fry all potato rectangles with oil on low flame.cook it for 15 minutes till they become brown and get roasted.Now flip all rectangles to other side and slightly press.let them cook for 15 minutes.

    Serve hot in a serving plate with tomato ketchup,cucumber carrot salad and curd.
