Garam Masala - Indian spicemix Garam Masala - Indian spicemix
Garam masala is a delicious warm tasting spicemix from India, there are a few recipes I love to make that require this and although you can probably also find a ready-made-mix in a shop when in a hurry... a fresh homemade mix is definitely much more rich in flavour and taste. You will need a old coffee bean grinder or something similar if you use whole ingredients. If you need more, just use a bigger spoon and keep it in a closed (glass) container to keep it fresh Bart -

The reason why I like to prepare my own meal at home. Because I realized that outside meals are contain too much sodium and fats. Even on salad, they added too much salad dressing to make it taste more delicious. Yes, that’s true it tastes delicious. But it contains too much salt and fats and that’s not good to our body. To avoid it, actually it’s very easy to make your own salad dressing at home. And of course by making your own salad dressing you can leave out the salt. And here I make my own salad with my own salad dressing. Always remember, being healthy is precious! Nia Hiura -

Chai Kahwa: For Colds Chai Kahwa: For Colds
At my home in India, we make this beverage when someone has a cold, or is feeling ill due to cold weather. We don't have it every day, but the spices and honey warm your body and give you energy. I got some almond powder, so I tried making it.●If you don't have almond flour for baking, grind up almonds in a food processor or in a mortar.●If you don't want tea, just omit the tea leaves. You can use green tea instead of black tea too.●You can add 1 whole clove instead of powdered cloves. Recipe by Plabar cookpad.japan -

Hibiscus Punch Hibiscus Punch
Somehow found myself buying dried hibiscus with no actual plan until I caught a cold and craved homemade medicinal juice. Medicinal for it’s benefits to the body including lowering blood pressure and prompting weight loss. But like all medicines, hibiscus juice should be taken in moderation - I only take two small cups a day as I’ve previously suffered prolonged periods of low blood pressure and most certainly not keen to go back there.#GoldenApron23 Bianca Mwale -
