If you are looking to make French fries but want a more health conscious alternative, this recipe is a must. They are first baked throughly and then broiled to crisp perfection. Although not as crunchy as the original fried French Fries, they are still crisp to the bite. You can season them to your liking and then dip them into your favorite sauce.#CA2025 Veggie K -

Croquettes with Demi-glace Sauce from Leftover Hayashi Rice Croquettes with Demi-glace Sauce from Leftover Hayashi Rice
When you had hayashi rice for dinner on the previous day... sometimes you're left with such small amount of the sauce that's not even enough to serve on rice. It's those times when you feel like shouting, "Who was the last one to eat this!?" These croquettes are perfect for that situation. In Step 2, keep on stirring to prevent the sauce from burning. Try scooping it up with a ladle, and see if it keeps its shape when you drop it into the pan. When adding flour, make sure to add in small batches to avoid any lumps. Please add a small amount of ketchup if it tastes too plain in Step 3. Recipe by Miashanmama cookpad.japan -

A Gyoda Speciality: Jelly Fries A Gyoda Speciality: Jelly Fries
I go to eat jelly fries at a speciality restaurant in Gyoda City occasionally since I like them a lot. I wanted to eat them at home too, and after a lot of research I made my own version, which were approved by my kids, who eat them up happily. Eat more okara; it's really good for you!The skim milk is optional! You can use heavy cream or coffee cream instead! Add any of them while the potato is still hot. Adjust the amount of vegetable additions to your taste too. Cover with sauce as soon as they're fried. Use whichever Worcestershire-type sauce you like. For 18 fries.
