Homemade mixed choco-bread

Cooking Instructions

Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl except for cocoa powder and set aside..

Divide the mixed dry ingredients into two equal part in two bowls.add cocoa powder in one of the bowl,mix well and set aside.

Mix your wet ingredients in another bowl.

Adding the wet ingredients into each bowl to make a dough.one plain dough and the other cocoa dough. Roll out each dough.

Place the rolled out dough on each other,and fold in together as seen in the picture.

Place the dough in the baking pan and allowed to rise for 30-35min.then bake on a medium level for 25-30min

After baking transfer to a cooling rack before cutting and serve while it's still warm with either beverage or juice.enjoy

I came up with a recipe that I could make easily with my kids and could give away as a Father's Day present. Their father said that it was rich and tasty and he was surprised to find chocolate in what he thought to be just normal steamed bread. He ate it cool but seems to really want to try it warm as well.Once I added the egg, I tried putting the bowl on the scales and measuring it after you've added each ingredient. This bread tends to rise more than expected so when pouring in the mixture, if you're wondering whether it's enough it's probably about right.
