Super easy , and good!I made this for Valentine’s Day for the family, but you can use plain M&M’s or any holiday kind. This is good for any holiday or party, events, cookouts , bbq , pot lucks . I cheated and used a cookie bag mix , because I was being lazy , but I do make the cookie mix from the recipe when I have the time or the ingredients , both ways are great... and easy.

I love baking Christmas cookies during this time of year, but sometimes I don't have time to roll them out and ice them. This is the perfect solution for your sugar cookie fix!

This is the opposite of the chocolate chip cookie bar. Just having fun mixing it up.

My daughter had international day and her class got Yugoslavia. We made Dream Bars or aka Christmas cookies. They were a hit! Everyone loved them. I made 2 flavors, blackberry was the traditional with walnuts, but I also made a raspberry 😍 . They were divine! It's a shortbread crust with a blackberry jam or any flavor you like, topped with a lemon meringue and walnuts !!!

These bars have the great taste of sugar cookies, but none of the chilling of the dough and rolling out shapes. Just make up the dough and bake. These bars are soft and chewy. Recipe adapted from : Sallys Cookie Addiction Cookbook.

I found a cookie bar recipe years ago and have tried different variations to finally achieve a winning recipe my sons absolutely love. They prefer the recipe presented here, but you can vary the chips and nuts according to your taste. Sometimes I make the bars with no nuts, but I prefer the walnuts added. I will say using store brands versus name brands definitely changed the taste and the quality of the bars.... so I stick to the brands presented here.

I love the "Aunt Stella" limited edition fall sweet potato cookies. This is the result of trial and error adjusting the ingredients.It tastes a bit different, but I was able to make delicious sweet potato cookies.If you can, I recommend "browned butter margarine." We are all always hunting for that elusive beast, "the perfect chocolate chip cookie". I'm not going to tell you this recipe is perfect by any means, and as it's written it's "cookie bars", not straight up cookies - although I do have a note at the end for the option of making cookies. I make bars because as a busy mom spreading my dough out in a cake pan and throwing it into the oven is faster than making batch after batch of individual cookies, waiting for my cookie sheets to cool between each batch, and lugging the dough in and out of the fridge to ensure the cookies don't spread ridiculously.What I WILL tell you is that this recipe is my own compilation of my favorite aspects of a variety of cookie recipes I've tried over the years, and we think it's delicious. And be prepared for open gooey yummyness, cause that's ehat you're gonna get with these!
