Asian Style Chicken Sandwich

Sauté onion, garlic and shallot till soft and fragrant, put in the chicken, stir until no longer pink.

Add water and seasonings to your taste, simmer until all flavors absorbed into the chicken. Add in corn starch slurry, stir, turn off the heat, then add the sliced green onions.

Mix flour, milk powder, instant yeast, sugar, egg and fresh milk until become one dough. Add in salt and butter, knead the dough until become elastic or reaching windowpane stage. Rest for 1 hour.

Portioning the dough, round them, then rest for 10-15 minutes.

Take 1 dough, flatten it, turn it over, then sealed tightly. Spray with egg or oil, then coat with some bread crumbs. Rest for 45 minutes until doubled in size.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.

Cool them in a cooling rack. Fill with the chicken filling and toppings to your like. Serve with any sauce you prefer.
Tips
🌭 Always cover the dough with damp towel so it won't dry out.
🌭 Don't pour all the liquid in one go. Pour it little by little to see the consistency you prefer, hard or soft. The liquid may need more or less depending on the flour you use.
🌭Resting time can differ depending on the weather, humidity or room temperature.
🌭Baking time also can take longer or shorter depending on the characteristic of the oven we use.
