Cooking Instructions

Pat dry the pork chops and season with salt and pepper of each side of the pork chop.

In a smal bowl, combine soy sauce,mustard, garlic,sugar lemon juice, honey and water. Whisk till everything is combined and set aside.

Next heat the pan and add sunflower oil,then place the pork chops. Cook them for 3 minutes each side.

Remove the chops from the pan, add butter to the same pan, let it melt and add thyme, and the sauce made at stage 2. Whisk everything and immediately add back the pork chops.

Use a tablespoon to pour some of the sauce on top of the chops. Repeat the process for 5 minutes and set aside to serve.

Don't know where this recipe originated but my mother made this all the time when I was little. My kids swarmed to the table when we made this. You can use pork chops or pork steaks , depending on your personal preference. I prefer the steaks as they are not as "dry" as chops are. I will add photos the next time I make it. Tooljunke -
