Ingredients

  • 3 tbspOil (1 Tsp + 2 Tbsp)
  • 1cupbOnions, Chopped
  • 2sliced Green Chilies
  • 1 tbspGinger Garlic Paste
  • 1.5 tbspSpice Mix (Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp + Garam Masala
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspRed Chilli Powder
  • To TasteSalt
  • 2Tomatoes
  • 1Red Bell Pepper/capsicum
  • 1/4 cupGround Cashews
  • 1 cupPaneer Cubes
  • 1 CupRed Onion, Cubed, And Layers Separated
  • 1 tbspKasuri Methi

Steps

  1. 1

    Puree tomato and bell pepper and keep it aside.

  2. 2

    Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and sauté cubed onions for 2-3 mins.
    Transfer onions to a plate and set it aside.

  3. 3

    In the same pan heat 2 tbsp oil.
    Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

  4. 4

    Now add chopped onions and sauté till they turn golden in colour.
    Add green chilis and cook for a minute.

  5. 5

    Now add pureed tomato and bell pepper.
    Mix well and let it cook for 5-6 mins.

  6. 6

    Add chilli powder, salt, and spice mix of (turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder).

  7. 7

    Let the spices cook for about 2 minutes.
    Now add sautéed onion cubes, ground cashew and mix well.
    Cook for 2 minutes.

  8. 8

    Add kasuri methi, paneer cubes and mix well.
    Let it cook on medium heat for 5 minutes.

  9. 9

    Once done remove from heat and garnish it with cashews and coriander.

  10. 10

    Serve hot with any roti or naan of your choice.
