Steps

Take jawar, wheat flour and besan in a mixing bowl. Add turmeric, ajwain, salt and finely chopped coriander and mix well.

Add a little water and make a thick dough. Cover and rest it for 15 minutes.

Heat the oil in a pan in low medium flame. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida.

Add red chilli powder, goda masala. Mix well. Fry for a minute. Add water and salt.

Let it boil nicely. Take a small ball of dough and roll it into shengoli.

When the shengoli is ready, drop them into boiling gravy.

Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Now shengoli is ready to serve. Add lemon juice if required.

Add oil tadka with garlic or ghee while serving. Serve it with pickle.
