Ingredients

  1. 1 cupfinely chopped cabbage
  2. 1 cupgrated paneer or cottage cheese
  3. 1/2 cupgrated carrot
  4. 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
  5. 1 teaspoonginger garlic paste
  6. 1/4 cupfinely chopped french beans
  7. 3 tablespoonscorn flour or corn stach
  8. 1/2 teaspooncrushed pepper
  9. 2 tspFinely chopped ginger garlic
  10. 3 tablespoonsplain flour or maida
  11. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoonred chilli powder (according to taste)
  13. To tasteSalt
  14. As neededOil for frying
  15. 1 tablespoontomato ketchup
  16. 1 tablespoonred chilli sauce
  17. 1 tablespoonsoya sauce
  18. 1/4 cupwater
  19. As neededFinely chopped coriander (for presentation)

Cooking Instructions

    Add the prepared veggies, paneer, corn flour, plain flour, ginger garlic paste, pepper, garam masala, red chilli powder & salt to a mixing bowl. Mix everything well.

    Mix everything well and the texture should be like a dough. Then, make lemon sized balls. The balls must bind well without breaking.

    You can also optionally roll these balls in corn starch.

    Heat oil in a deep pan for deep frying.

    Check if the oil is hot enough by dropping a small portion of the dough in hot oil.

    Gently slide the balls in hot oil & fry on a medium flame. Fry till the colour of the balls turn golden brown.

    Drain them on a kitchen tissue.

    Heat oil in a pan, then add ginger garlic and saute for a min. After that, add finely chopped onion and french beans.

    Add tomato ketchup, red chilli sauce and soya sauce and saute for 2 mins.

    Make a 1 teaspoon corn flour and 1/4 cup water mixture and add it to the pan. Keep stirring continuously.

    Once, the sauce starts to thicken, add the manchurian balls.

    Mix well for a minute and then turn off the flame.

    Your veg manchurian dry is ready! Use coriander for presentation.
