Ingredients

  1. 250 gmargarine or butter
  2. 250 gCaster sugar
  3. 4eggs
  4. 1 tspvanilla essence
  5. Pinchsalt
  6. 250 gself raising flour

    Pre heat oven. Greece the baking tin and dust it with some little flour.

    Cream the margarine or butter and the sugar together until its pale

  3. 3

    Beat in the eggs one by one then add the vanilla essence

  4. 4

    Sift over the flour and fold in using a wooden spoon. The mixture should be of a dropping consistency, if not add a little milk. Bake for 45 minutes or until skewer inserted comes out clean.
