Soak the Mung beans, urad dal and idli rice for 5-6 hours or overnight. Grind to a smooth paste adding little water.

Fry Mustard seeds till it sputters. Sautee onions green chillies until translucent. Add it to the batter.

On a dosa pan add 1 ladle full of the batter and fry the pesarattu. Flip and fry on both sides until golden brown.

Serve with more chopped onions, ginger pickle and coconut chutney. Best enjoyed with chai.
