Moong dal snack is a type of mixture prepared with yellow lentils, a short and simple snack dish that can be cooked at home.
I love to have this snack with some sweets, and especially KAJU KATLI. Do serve with your favourite sweets and enjoy your deepawali with your loved ones.

Soak the dal in milk and water. Leave it for one hour. Milk helps the snack to be cooked crunchy.

Separate dal from water and keep aside until the water is rinsed off.

Heat oil in a kadhai, deep fry the lentils until it turns golden. Also fry some cashews and add to the dal.

Mix salt, black salt and pepper to the dal and serve.
