I think I got this recipe from one of my Chinese friends, but honestly I can't remember. It sure is comforting though.

I think I got this recipe from one of my Chinese friends, but honestly I can't remember. It sure is comforting though.
Steps

Soak the rice in 225 ml water for 1h.

Slice the sausages and/or bacon and divide the vegetables into smaller pieces if needed and arrange them on top of the rice.

Cover, bring to boil then lower the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

Mix the sauce ingredients and add them evenly to the rice.
Cover again and simmer for another 5 minutes. - 5
Add chopped scallion and sesame oil to taste, then stir everything together.
