It seems to be the weather for warming, hot drinks - this is one of my favourites. A great pick-me-up, turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and is full of antioxidants. The spices are lovely on a chilly morning and I like to use lots of ginger, add to your taste. Tip: don’t touch the turmeric root with your fingers or they will be yellow for days!

Remove the skins and crush the ginger and turmeric root
- 2
Gently warm the coconut milk in a pan and add the spices. Continue to heat for 5 minutes but do not boil. Add the coconut sugar to taste.

Strain the herbs and transfer to a mug. Grate a little turmeric and a punch of nutmeg. Enjoy 😊
