I am love the fusion in recipes. So created something new where the non vegetarian me forced to add the shrimp stuffing in Rice Toons and gave it a tandoor twist .The stuffed shrimp with tandoor tastes authentic and full of flavors.

Steps for Rice Toons dough:-1. Take water in a pan on high flame.Once it starts boiling add salt and mix it. Then slowly add the rice flour by continuously stirring it so that no lumps can be formed.

2. Cook rice flour till water dried off. If rice flour is uncooked then add more hot water which kept aside. You can also cover it and cook for 2 more mins if the flour needs to be cooked more. 3. Once it is done. Spread the cooked flour in a plate to make it cooled. Once it is cooled down we can prepare our Toons.

Shrimp stuffing:-1. Use a mortar and pestle and mix everything together.It gives a unique taste to the shrimp. Add salt and mustard oil at the end. Now the shrimp stuffing is ready for the use.

Steps for making the Toons:-1. Once the flour dough cooled down completely, wet both of your hands slightly and prepare the small balls. Press the balls gently between your palms and put the prepared shrimp stuffing in the center. Then seal the Toons as per the desired shape. Shape can be simply balls or likes momos☺️

2. Then deep fry these balls in medium heat till these are lightly fried.Fry till these turns crispy. Donot wait till it changes its color. Strain these toons and keep it aside.

Prepare tandoori marinate:-Add the toons to this marinate. Use your hands to properly coat the toons without breaking it. Then in the center of the marinate bowl keep a heated charcoal and pour 1tsp ghee on the top of it and cover the lid for 15mins to give it a smoky flavor. Which is difficult to get without the tandoor. Then heat a pan. Put the toons on it. Pour some mustard oil on it.

Now start mixing them continuously by shaking the pan so that the toons will get the perfect tandoor look within a minute. Now remove this toons and keep aside and serve hot with salad and some schezwan chutney and mayonnaise on top.
