Steps
- 1
First make the coconut stuffing, for that dry roast the grated coconut in a pan for few minutes. Then add the jaggery or sugar to it & stir continuously until the excess water dries off.
- 2
Now we are going to make a simple sugar syrup. For that boil water & add the sugar to it & wait until the sugar dissolves. Add cardamom powder and 2 tsp ghee to it & boil it for a couple of minutes more. Then lower down the heat & add the semolina little by little & stir continuously.stir for 2-3 minutes. You can add warm water if the mixture turns too dry & hard to stir.
- 3
Now cool it down a bit. Then knead the semolina mixture with ur hand until the texture is soft. After that take a small portion of the mixture & stuff it with prepared coconut mixture & cover it up.
- 4
Now deep fry all the Monda balls in hot oil. Drained out the excess oil & cool it down a bit. Then serve.
