Pressure cook the masoor dal for 3 to 4 whistles

Heat oil in a sauce pan add onions fry till golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and green chili fry for 2 to 3 mins.

Add tomatoes cook till tomatoes are mashed, add haldi powder, chili powder, coriander powder, jeera powder,goda masala and salt mix it well fry the masala for 2 to 3 mins if dry add little water

Then add the cooked masoor dal and little water as per consistency. Simmer for 15 mins on medium flame. Garnish with coriander leaves
