Steps

Take a vessel fill with almost 1-litre water. Turn on the flame.

Add food colour to the water. Cover the vessel & let the water boils. Once the water boils add the soaked rice. Cover the vessel, check the rice after 5 mints, keep it 80% cooked.

Stir the rice at regular interval, when 80% cooked, turn off the flame & strain them.

Take a heavy pan, turn on flame & let it heat add ghee, then add cashew, almond, coconut julienne roast it slightly. Take out a bit of dry fry to use later for garnishing.

Then add cardamom seeds, cloves, slightly roast. Add rice, then add 3/4 cup sugar & milk.

Cover and cook the rice on low flame for 10 minutes. Then turn off the flame.

Cover & keep the pulao for 10 mins, then serve it.

Yummy & aromatic pulao is ready. Garnish the pulao with some dry fruits.

You can store Zara Pulao & relish it for 3 days.
