A quick dish that everyone is sure to love. This is the perfect last-minute recipe to save the day when you have unexpected guests and want them to stay for dinner.
Steps
- 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti when the water is boiling.
- 2
Finely chop the garlic and add it to a deep skillet with olive oil and red pepper flakes. Sauté for a few minutes, then add the walnuts.
- 3
Remove the spaghetti from the pot about one minute before it’s fully cooked and transfer it to the skillet. Add a ladle of pasta cooking water. Before the water evaporates completely, drizzle with a little more olive oil. Plate the pasta and top with a spoonful of pesto. Enjoy!
