Heat the kadhai on the gas and add oil in it. Then add mustard seeds and wait for it to crackle, then add hing, chopped onion and saute it. Then add green chilli, hing, suji and saute it continuously till it becomes pink in colour and smells comes out, then add tomato, salt, fresh coriander, chilli and saute it. Then add water and stir it. Then add buttermilk (optional) and stir it continuously till it gets thick.

After it becomes thick then transfer it to a plate and garnish it with fresh coriander, grated coconut and dry fruits and serve it
