Ingredients

  • Seasoned Flour
  • 1 CupFlour
  • 1/4 CupCornstarch
  • 1 TbsSeasoning Salt
  • 1/2 TbsCayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 TbsBlack Pepper
  • 1 TspGarlic Powder
  • Buttermilk Marinade
  • 1 CupButtermilk or substitute 1 Cup Milk & 1 Tbs White Vinegar
  • 1 TspSeasoned Meat Tenderizer
  • 1/2 TspCayenne Pepper
  • 1 TspBlack pepper
  • 4Butterflied Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • Frying
  • Peanut Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Make the seasoned flour: In a medium bowl, combine the flour, seasoning salt, pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the buttermilk marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the buttermilk, seasoned meat tenderizer, pepper, and cayenne. Toss in the chicken in the marinade to coat. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator, or overnight.

  3. 3

    Dip the marinated chicken in the flour mixture until the chicken is completely covered. Fry in deep fryer with peanut oil at 365° for 7 Minutes. Cool on wire rack or paper towel.
