Homemade mac and cheese for my toddler that I usually meal prep in advance for him

Boil macaroni noodles and preheat oven to 200 degrees celcius

Melt 1 stick of butter over medium heat. When butter is melted, add 1/3 cup of flour

Gradually add 3 cups of milk into the pot, stirring all the while on medium heat.

Reduce heat and then add in the cheese and keep stirring until cheese is melted.

Add salt and pepper if you’d like. Add in the boiled macaroni noodles into the cheese sauce and mix well.

In a separate small bowl, melt 2 Tablespoons of butter add 4 Tablespoons of bread crumbs plus a dash of pepper and mix.
Sprinkle this breadcrumb mixture over the mac and cheese in a casserole dish. - 7
Cook in the oven for 30mins and if you’d like a crispier mac and cheese - leave the lid open. This should cover 4 or 5 meals for your kid. Enjoy!
