Ingredients

  • For dough
  • 1 1/2 cupall purpose flour
  • 1 tbspsalt/or acc to taste
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 1/2 tbspbaking powder
  • 1/2 cupmilk or as required
  • 1/2sugar
  • Filling
  • 1 1/2 cupboiled mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 tbspchilli flakes
  • 1/2 tbspchat masala
  • 1/2 tbspsalt
  • 3green chillies
  • Fresh coriander
  • 1onion medium finely chopped
  • Flour for dust
  • Oil for frying
  • Soft butter as required

    Prepare all dough ingredients

    First make dough by mixing all ingredients and Knead it we'll make soft dough and cover it for 15 minutes

    Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl and put it aside

    Now dust some flour on the slab and put dough on it and roll it,spread butter on it and again fold it, repeat this twice

    Then cut it into 3 pieces and make 3 balls/pairay

    Flatten one on slab put filling on it and fold it from all sides and give it shape of roti

    Heat tawa on medium flame put roti on it apply oil and cook it from both sides until it becomes golden,apply oil on both sides

    Similarly make all 3 kulchas

    Kulchas are ready to serve,you can serve it with ketchup chutney raita dahi anything you like
