Ingredients

  1. 4Tomatoes
  2. 100 GmBhakarwadi
  3. 1 TspCumin Powder
  4. 1 tspCoriander Powder
  5. 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  6. 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper Powder
  7. 1 tspChilli Powder
  8. 1/4 tspHing/asafoetida
  9. as neededOil For Vaghar
  10. to tasteSalt And Sugar
  11. as neededWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop the Tomatoes into medium pieces

  2. 2

    Put Oil into a deep pan and add Hing for tadka

  3. 3

    Now put the chopped tomatoes and stir

  4. 4

    Add the Turmeric powder, Salt and Black Pepper Powder to the Tomatoes

  5. 5

    Put 2 tall glasses of Water to the Tomatoes and stir

  6. 6

    Put a lid to the pan and let the Tomatoes simmer till soft. Keep checking and stirring in between now and then.

  7. 7

    After the Tomatoes become soft, add the Cumin-Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder And Sugar And Mix Well.

  8. 8

    Now add the Bhakarwadis and turn off the gas

  9. 9

    Let the Bhakarwadis soak in the gravy for 5 minutes.. Add some more water if the gravy becomes too thick and also additional Salt if required.

  10. 10

    And this delicious, tangy snd spicy fusion recipe is ready to be devoured.
