Wash rice and urad dal 2-3 times and soak for 8 hours.

Now churn rice and urad dal in mixer grinder to fine paste. Keep aside for fermentation for 8-10 hours.

Add salt and soda bi-carb and little water to batter mix well. Steam idli in steamer for 10-12 minutes. Serve with Sambhar and chutney.
