Clean fish and wash thoroughly. Strain and pat dry from excess water using some kitchen paper towels.

Salt the fish & set aside for a few minutes so as salt can seep into the fish. Coat the fish with flour so it doesn’t stick or crumble during frying

In a deep pot heat enough vegetable oil & deep fry the fish until its fully cooked then set aside.

In a large saute pan add 3 tbsp of olive oil & saute the cilantro, garlic until aromatic and golden. Add the chili pepper, lemon juice & spices, stirring all ingredients & bring to a boil

Finally add the fish and walnuts simmering for 20 minutes over heat.

Transfer the fish onto your choice of serving dish,and garnish with fresh green coriander.
