Green Bell Pepper Bhaji is an easy and quick recipe which uses very few ingredients which is easily available in your kitchen pantry. This side dish can be enjoyed with roti, rice and dal or curd curry and papad.

Wash the peppers. Remove the seeds and cut into small chunks and set aside.

Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds and allow it to crackle. Add asafoetida. Add the pepper chunks and cover with a plate with water on the top. Cook till the water dries out. Add salt.

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and kashmiri chilli powder and give it a good mix. Again cover with a plate with little water on top so that the masala cooks and blends with the peppers. Off the flame.

Serve Green Bell Pepper Bhaji with roti, rice and dal or curd curry and papad.
