Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mince onion and carrot up and heat up pot or frying pan with oil. Any meat is fine i used bacon. Celery is good too to add.
- 2
Add bacon and sauté the veggies when bacon is cooked add corn low medium heat
- 3
Wash your rice(I used 1cup)how you usually wash and put rice inside the pot. I don’t have a pot so I used a frying pan. Add about 1/2 cup and medium heat we don’t want to make the rice too soft. Put a whole clove of garlic. (I don’t have so I used garlic powder)
- 4
Add black pepper optional and a pinch of salt. If the rice doesn’t look cooked add a little bit of water 1/4cup not too much. And cook in low heat. Cover it. Try not to get water inside to moist too much.
- 5
When your rice looks and taste like it’s cooked serve it up. Peel the garlic if you have and eat it with the pilaf! Enjoy!

My grandmother refused to make regular plain whit rice. She was a strong independent Armenian woman that I loved with all my heart and soul. If you were going to eat rice in her home it was going to be eaten her way, and that way was Pilaf. JustLikeGrandma -

A really quick and easy side dish to accompany many meat entrées. I also like to add onion or other veg sometimes. Also, vegetable stock can be used in place of chicken stock/soy butter used to make this vegetarian or vegan friendly. concon657 -

Curry Pilaf Curry Pilaf
I uploaded a curry pilaf recipe before, but over the years, I've refined the recipe. So I deleted the old one and uploaded this one. This one is delicious.Make sure to use less water than usual, for the rice to be firm and separate.Adjust the water level after adding the dissolved soup stock and soy sauce. The saltiness of the curry powder differs by brand, so adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.I used curry powder that only contains spices, no salt. Corn Rice Cooker Pilaf Corn Rice Cooker Pilaf
I love corn.Granulated soup stock is convenient, but if using the block type, then 2 teaspoons of granulated stock is 1 block; please use this standard. Use a knife to cut in half vertically, horizontally, and height-wise (in 8 pieces) and it'll be easy to dissolve. Recipe by Pukuttopukumaru cookpad.japan
