Place the tortilla chips in a bowl. Next, cook the hamburger patty in a skillet, breaking it up with a spatula as it cooks. If you're making this for more people, use more hamburger patties and more chips. Once the hamburger is cooked, sprinkle it over the chips.

Now, make the cheddar cheese sauce. In a saucepan, pour in 2 cups of milk (about 500 ml) and add a pinch of salt. When the milk is hot but not boiling, add the cheddar cheese slices, torn into pieces so they melt faster. Stir constantly until the cheese is completely melted. Add a little food coloring if you want the sauce to have a more orange color.

Pour the cheese sauce over the chips and hamburger. Drizzle with barbecue sauce to finish. It's a calorie bomb, but it's worth it!
