Steps

Wash moong Dal a few times until water runs clear.add water,1/2tsp termeric &salt to the pot or prssesure cookker along with Dal.

Cook on high flame for 1whistles.if making in a pot add more water as needed &cook until soft & mushy.

Heat a pan 1-1/2tbsp oil add chopped onion & ginger garlic green chillies paste.saute until the onions turn golden.

Than add tomato puree &salt sauté on a medium flame until tomato turn soft.add 1/2tsp Turmeric,1/2tsp red chilly powder, kitchen king masala & coriander powder.

Sauté for 2min till the masala begins to smell good.add the cooked Dal.add water if needed to bring it to consistency.stir well and allow to cook until the Dal begins to bubble well.this way take about 3-5min

When Dal reaches the desired consistency add more salt if needed.stir&cook for a minute.now put in serving vessel.

Heat a pan with oil add mustard,cumin & 1/2tsp red chilly powder.when they begin to splutter put it up of the dal put handful coriander leaves.serve Dal fry with rice and roti.
